Blyth Hut
Blyth hut is an easy walk from all ages. The hut has ample bunks and is far enough off the round the mountain trail to visitors low.

The Footstool
The Footstool is a brilliant “small” peak near Mt Sefton. The remoteness of the peak was stunning despite it being in the hooker valley.

As a fan of Lord of the Rings, Mount Ngāuruhoe was a dream objective in New Zealand. Once was enough on the scree field though.
Heather Jock Hut
Heather Jock hut was not our first choice or second choice for the weekend. But I am glad we got to experience the sunset
